A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent. This is the scout law. One time that I demonstrated living by the scout law is at scout camp. We were having breakfast. Everyone was finishing up and trickling back to camp. I finished up and was about to go but then I realized that one of the waiters who was scheduled to clean up, had left. They had left the table a mess. So, I went over and cleaned it up before I left. I wiped it down and put up the chairs. This shows how I was helpful and clean, which are both part of the scout law.
