Webelos Campout

Traditionally the weekend was always a chance for us to welcome in
potential new scouts. This year there were no Webelos attending as we had to close
down our membership except for brothers and best friends of brothers.
We still had fun though.
We slept in the rifle range and had a big campfire where we ate steak and potatoes cooked over the fire wrapped in foil. We later went to bed around 11:30.
The next day we got up around 6 or 7. We had a little breakfast of oatmeal and juice. We had to measure the flagpole with sticks and compared it with the shadow. The pole was like 34 feet. We went down to the waterfront where we weren’t really s’posed to go. We tried to walk on the ice as there were no adults around. One person tried to walk across between the docks but he fell in about two times. First in was Patrick and then it was Jimmy who got pushed in. When we went back to the camp Mr. H got really mad. Later on we listened to a pretty long lecture about staying away from the waterfront. Later that day we went home.
